He is the recipient of the Frank Waters Prize and the Kevin McIlvoy Short Fiction Award and was a finalist for the AWP Intro Journal Awards. He received his MFA at New Mexico State University and lives in Philadelphia. He is currently querying his debut novel, The Danger Is to the Body and It Can Kill.
